Paper-cloth urn pictures
The windows are drawings made with paint, acrylic gels, ink and pens, and all inspired by a tiny pencil drawing made years ago in Tunisia.
The series of urn images are created in many layers. The first layer is made from recycled papers which are layered and glued onto thin fabric to create a firm base. These sheets are painted and printed in different colours. Shapes are then cut and then machine and hand stitched in place with further embellishments.
These images are also available as printed greetings cards.
